Tubulars Protection

Oilfield tubulars and other downhole equipment must be protected from all types of corrosion when exposed to well fluids of any kind. Surface corrosion and bacterial fouling are common causes of tubular failures and must be controlled at all times. Corrosion inhibitors, biocides and oxygen scavengers should be applied to all fluids that will be static for any significant period.

Product Information

OS PRO-TECT O is a blend of corrosion inhibitor, biocide and oxygen scavenger for use in packer fluids, completion fluids and hydro testing.

This product is ideal for use where water-based fluids and brines are to be used in a static environment over a significant time period. This may be in packer fluids, completion/workover fluids and hydrostatic pipeline testing. OS PRO-TECT O can also provide protection against carbon dioxide in closed systems.

Application

Dosage levels can be between 400 – 800 ppm depending on the system to be treated.
